"We took a giant leap from manual operation in our EDM department to a totally automated cell," explained Operations Manager, David Jones. "By combining a System 3R WorkMaster robot with an Agie Innovation sink erosion machine we have upgraded our production process significantly. Tasks that were taking 12 processes and over 30 hours, now only take 4 hours to complete – and all unmanned!" This level of achievement has seen FSG’s export sales rise to nearly 20% of the company's business and provided customers with tool lead times that have been halved to 6-8 weeks.
