is a compact unit for pallet changing, both on the machine table and in the machine spindle.
Typical fields of application are:
• milling – changing of workpieces and cutting tools
• grinding – changing of workpieces
• die-sinking EDM – changing of workpieces and electrodes
• wire EDM – changing of workpieces
WorkPartner 2+ offers many advantages:
• A magazine both at the front and at the rear gives a high magazine capacity
• Easy to load tools and workpieces
• Quick, simple installation with minimal downtime
• All functions in a single unit
• Requires little floor space
• Integral control cabinet
Technical Specification
• Transfer weight – pallet with workpiece 80 kg, electrodes 10 kg
• M-, X-, Z- and C-axes – AC servomotor
• Stroke, M-axis – 1300 mm
• Stroke, X-axis – 990 mm
• Stroke, Z-axis – 1500 mm
• Rotation, C-axis – 200 degrees
• Electric power supply required – single-phase, 180-240 V AC, 10 A at 230 V
• Air pressure required – 6±1 bar, 150 l/min
• Floor space required – 1850 x 2260 mm
• Interface - serial R232/422, M-function or parallel I/O

Extremely user-friendly
The feature of WorkPartner 2+ is its great magazine capacity. The magazine is loaded from the front and rear of the unit. In both cases through generous doors that make loading and picking easier.
Especially well suited for two machines
With its enhanced magazine capacity, WorkPartner 2+ is especially well suited to serving more than one machine. Machines of the same type and make, or machines with different machining technologies and of different makes.
Options
• Rotating gripper jaw 180°
• Double gripper jaw
• Tilting gripper jaw 90°
• Drying station, but not in double cells, where the drying station is placed on the opposite side to the machine
• Double cell – one unit serves two machines
• ID system with/without automatic scanning
• Cell PC med WorkShopManager software
• Air supply to table chuck built into th changer arm.
Magazine capacity
The magazines consist of a number of shelves, in the doors or in the frame. Every shelf provides space for a number of pallets, many for the small pallet systems, fewer for the larger ones. The number of shelves in the magazines depends on the height of the loaded parts.
The magazines are therefore constructed from a number of modules, giving practically unlimited scope to adapt the magazines to the specific needs of every user. There are no "standard magazines".
There are two basic combinations – front door magazine + rear frame magazine or front frame magazine + rear frame magazine. Here are some commonly occurring magazine combinations.

In , only customer-specific solutions, since the number of positions per shelf is determined mainly by the size of the workpiece and therefore of the clamping elements and not by the tool system – whether you choose Macro, Unimatic or MacroTwin.
