The latest addition to System 3R's wide-ranging automation
programme is WorkPartner 1+, a robot characterised by a design that
is tuned to match modern tool machines in highly efficient
production cells.
WorkPartner 1+ is a compact unit for changing pallets (of up to 50
kg in the standard format) on machine tables and at machine
spindles in one or two machines. The served machines may be of the
same type and make. They can also just as easily use different
machining technologies and come from different manufacturers.
WorkPartner 1+ offers maximum magazine capacity in minimum floor
space. Unlike many other solutions on the market, there is no risk
of "painting yourself into a corner". Our modular magazines give an
unprecedented flexibility that can be adapted to each user's needs.
If you start with a single magazine, one or two more can be added
whenever required.
WorkPartner 1+ is equally ideal for milling machines, grinding
machines and die-sinking and wire EDM machines. Similarly, it is
equally efficient whether used in one-off or series production.
With generous magazine doors that facilitate loading/unloading,
WorkPartner 1+ is extremely user friendly. Other advantages include
rapid change cycles, integrated pneumatic control of gripping
devices and table chucks and minimal floor space requirements.
WorkPartner 1+ offers an extensive choice of options, e.g. a
loading station, a draining station, increased transfer weights of
up to 80 kg, an ID system (with or without automatic scanning), a
cell PC with WorkShopManager software, etc.
WorkPartner 1+ can be used with the majority of System 3R's
highly regarded pallet systems. It can also handle cones for
milling machine spindles. Like System 3R's other products, it has
an open architecture that ensures easy use with different makes of
machines.
System 3R has a comprehensive automation programme that includes
in-house developed robots and software. The efficiency of these has
been documented worldwide with all types of machines.
